Red Tent Surry Hills now open! Red Tent Health Centre now has a second location at Surry Hills, in addition to our Bondi Beach clinic.
This is important news for those of you who refer your lovely mums to our Red Tent clinic for acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Since many of your clients come from far afield, we are now excited to announce our second, more central location in Surry Hills, Sydney.
Our Red Tent Health Centre has recently turned ten years old! We can’t believe it but it’s true. We started in Woollahra, moved to Bondi Beach six years ago and have now been asked to join the Wholistic Medical Centre in Surry Hills. It is an exciting time.
The Wholistic Medical Centre had heard of our good name and were keen for the Red Tent to come on board. They have been running for 40 years (since we were babies – that’s impressive) and they have a whole range of practitioners there: integrative GPs, naturopaths, osteos, acupuncturists and psychotherapists.

We will still offer our services at our beautiful Red Tent Health Centre at Bondi Beach. But now we have a second option for your clients (and yourself, if you’re one of our wonderful midwife clients!).
What we love about the new location is that it is more central and is located right next to central station – pun intended! We have clients coming to us from all over Sydney and so it is time to move our services so more people can easily reach us.
We are still as passionate as ever with what we do, tending to women’s health, getting women ready to conceive, supporting women and couples through IVF, supporting mums throughout pregnancy and helping prepare them for birth, tending to their little ones and then tending to themselves again once they’ve had their baby… the cycle just keeps continuing.
Please do pass on this information to your clients. We look forward to seeing them in Surry Hills if that makes more sense for their location. Rebecca is working out of the new Surry Hills location from February 2019.
If your clients still prefer our Bondi Beach location, then they’ll be warmly tended to by Naomi, Kyla and Sar.

Transport suggestions to get you to Red Tent Health Centre at Surry Hills Wholistic Medical Centre
- A train from anywhere will take you almost to Rebecca’s new door! Just get out at the southern end of Central Station (south concourse, Exit 6 Chalmers Street) and you’re one minute away.
- Buses from all over often culminate at Central Station. Opt to get out on Chalmers or Elizabeth Street if you can.
- Soon there will also be trams from Randwick, Kingsford and Kensington as well as from the city that stop right outside.
- Take your car and park on Chalmers Street. It is metered 2-hour parking.
